Breve CV
Enrique Granada is Industrial Engineer (1991) the applicant joins the private sector (2 years), joining as teacher of the Thermal Machines and Motors Area of the University of Vigo in 1993. PhD in Industrial Engineering by the University of Vigo in 1999 obtaining Associate Professor position in 2001. Founding member (1998) and active of the Research Group GTE/EM1 of the University of Vigo competitive reference group by the Xunta de Galicia since 2007. Member of the interuniversity doctorate program “Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Engineering and Architecture” since its creation in 2012. Currently leader of the Energy Efficiency in Building Area of the GTE/EM1 group. More than 50 Contributions in Conferences, Seminars and Conferences, 42 of them international, participating in the scientific committee of 5 of them and in the organizing committee of 1. Regarding participation in competitive research projects, the applicant has participated in 5 European projects (IP of 2), 7 national projects (IP of 3) and 10 projects of the Xunta de Galicia (IP of 3). The result of these projects are, among others, 10 doctoral theses supervised, obtaining 2 of them the extraordinary prize of doctorate. In the section of projects and contracts with companies, both competitive and not, has participated in 18 having directed 3 of them. Founding partner of three Spin-off companies of the University of Vigo. Member of the expert committee of the Energy Management Area of the General Directorate of Research and Management of the National R+D+i Plan discontinuously since 2011. Expert evaluator of international organizations and the H2020 program, COSME and participant member of the IEA. Most of his research has been developed in the field of energy efficiency by applying simulation techniques, Numerical Methods and statistical techniques applied to experimentation. Since 2011 has been focusing his research towards energy efficiency in building by coupling the mathematical techniques described above and the transient simulation.
